Exactly how do I download a file to my
computer, so I can listen/watch it later?
Very easy:
1.
Place your mouse cursor over the icon of the file you
want to download (see below for which format to download). 2.
Right-click (click on the right-side button on your mouse). Mac users:Control-click
(click your mouse while holding down the "Control" key). 3. In
the menu that appears, click (regularly this time) on "Save Target
As...". Mac users: Click "Download
Linked File" Firefox users: Click
"Save Link As..." 4. Pick a place on your computer to save the
file, and you're done!
I've downloaded some of the
songs... How do I make a CD for my CD Player?
You need to
create a CD using your music software and a CD Burner. Please
note that you must
have a CD-burning capable drive in your computer to be able to do this,
as well as blank CDs. If you are not sure how to burn a CD,
it's very easy! Consult your music software's (e.g. iTunes,
Windows Media Player, etc.) help area. Or, ask a friend to
show you how.
Who's
behind this site?
I'm
a 2005 LWE Graduate, and I was with the Marching Griffins all four
years. Incidentally, this is not the only Marching Griffins
related site I run - I also run the Low Brass's website
(notice how similar the two sites appear!) My name is Gary.
What
are the lyrics to the Egg Song?
The Egg Song is sung to the
tune of "The Farmer and the Cowman" from the musical Oklahoma!
The lyrics are as follows:
O,
you eat the eggs and you will surely die! O, you eat the eggs
and you will surely die! You might be wondering why you eat
the eggs and you surely die and I'll tell you why O yes I'll
tell you why!
Salmonella! Salmonella! Salmonella!
Salmonella! Salmonella! Salmonella!
Salmonella! Salmonella! Yes, that's the reason why you die!
It
is important to note that these are only the "baseline" lyrics - the
singer (myself included) has been and is free to make their own lyrics
after singing the initial baseline ones. The ad-lib lyrics
that I sang after the baseline for the talent show my junior year
involved hard practices and push-ups, and something else that Mr.
Johnson frowned at when I said it (I can't remember what).
It
is also important to note that this song is sung best dancing around
Mr. Smith like a creature from Fantasia
while in the Lake Williamson cafeteria (preferably during breakfast
when Mr. Smith has eggs on his plate).
